Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3116 Campbell
October 19, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3116 Campbell about 9:15 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 18).
The victim, Victor Burke, in his early 50s, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Officers D. Williamson and R. Ridel reported:
Mr. Burke confronted a woman in the courtyard of the apartment complex at the above address. The woman's husband intervened in the altercation and subsequently shot Burke one time.
Investigators interviewed all parties and will likely refer this incident to a Harris County grand jury. The investigation is continuing.
