Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 7398 Irvington
October 12, 2015 - The fatal shooting of two men at 7398 Irvington about 3 a.m. on Saturday (Oct. 10) will be referred to a Harris County Grand Jury.
The male victim and the male suspect were both pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and J. Burton reported:
A fight was reported to have occurred at the El Reventon Sports Bar and Night Club at the above address. According to a security guard, the suspect sustained injuries during the altercation and went to his vehicles to retrieve a gun. The suspect returned and shot the victim with whom he had been fighting. The suspect then fired multiple shots at random people in the parking lot. An armed security guard, working at the club, saw the suspect shooting at people and then shot the suspect one time.
The security guard was questioned and released.
