May 18, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 8010 South Gessner about 11:30 p.m.  on Sunday (May 17).

The identity of the male victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer T. Andrade and Officer S. Overstreet reported: 

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person at a McDonald's restaurant at the above address.  When officers arrived, they found the victim sitting inside a vehicle in the drive-through lane.  Preliminary information indicates the victim was robbed.  He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
