Davis and two family members went to an apartment at the above address where his sister wanted to confront another female relating to a prior altercation. When Davis' sister and the female began fighting in the courtyard of the apartment complex, other females joined in the fight. At that time, Davis pulled a gun and shot Pittmon in the chest. As the crowd dispersed, Davis fled the scene with his mother and sister. Paramedics arrived and pronounced Pittmon dead at the scene.
