Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 8925 Richmond
December 28, 2015 - The fatal shooting of two male suspects at 8925 Richmond about 2:20 a.m. on Friday (Dec. 25) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The suspects were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Brooks and C. Cegielski reported:
The victim was sitting in his car in the Metropolis nightclub parking lot at the above address when he was approached by two males armed with pistols who then assaulted him. Armed with a pistol of his own, the victim exchanged gunshots with the suspects, striking both of them. The victim was not wounded in the exchange of gunfire, but did sustain non-life threatening injuries from the initial assault.
The investigation is continuing.
