October 6, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 13501 Hooper #28 about 10:40 p.m. last Friday (Oct. 3).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers T. Miller and R. Nunez reported:

The victim was visiting a friend's trailer home when possibly two vehicles (unknown makes or models) drove up. A male inside one of the vehicles got into an argument with another male visiting the trailer residence. Witnesses said they saw a male with a gun, and residents, including the victim, run back inside the residence. Shots were fired and struck the outside wall of the trailer and the victim, who was inside. The suspect fled and paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
