May 1, 2014 - Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a man at 9898 Club Creek Drive on April 19, 2006.


Christopher Rolando Watson (b/m, 39) is charged with murder in the 183rd State District Court. A photo of Watson is attached to this news release. 

Watson is accused in the death of Shannon Stack, 33, who was pronounced dead at the scne.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Binford, Senior Police Officer M. Kral and Officer R. Swainson reported:

Mr. Stack was visiting an ex-girlfriend at her residence at the above address and became involved in an argument with Watson.  When the witness left the room, Watson shot Stack.  The witness stated she ran to the living room area where she found Stack on the floor with a gunshot wound to the chest. 

New evidence recently became available that indicated Watson was responsible for the shooting.  On Wednesday (April 30), Watson was arrested without incident.
