July 17, 2014 - Houston police are investigating an apparent murder/suicide at 605 Berry about 2:55 a.m. today.

The female victim, Candace Williams, 26, of the above address suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The male suspect, Phillip Deckard, 24, also suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Simmons and Senior Police Officer B. Evans reported:

Following an argument at their residence, suspect Deckard shot his wife, Ms. Williams, and then himself.
