July 7, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 1773 Nichole Woods Drive about 4:30 a.m. on Saturday (July 5).

The victim, Tremayne Richardson, 40, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Rodriguez and Senior Police Officer M. Burrow reported:

Shortly after midnight, Mr. Richardson was inside his home and told his wife he was going to meet someone outside.  Richardson's wife then went to sleep in the bedroom and realized her husband was not in the bed when she woke at 4:30 a.m. She searched the house for Richardson and then went outside where she found him wounded on the driveway.  Houston Fire Department paramedics were called and pronounced Richardson deceased.  At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
