January 27, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 7294 Kings Gate Circle about 12 a.m. on Sunday (Jan. 26). 

The male victim, 18, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Williams and Senior Police Officer M. Condon reported:

The victim was downstairs in his apartment while the rest of his family was upstairs.  Either the victim answered the front door or an unknown suspect(s) forced it open and entered the apartment.  Gunshots were heard by family members upstairs who came down to find the victim suffering from multiple gun shot wounds.  At this time, there is no known motive or suspect description.
