2nd Update: Help Sought in Investigation into 2013 Fatal Shooting at 2840 Shadowbriar
December 16, 2014 - Houston police homicide investigators are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect(s) and locating a vehicle stolen from a man found deceased at 2840 Shadowbriar about 8:30 a.m. on November 11, 2013.
The victim, David Oshodi-Alagoa, 24, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences ruled his death a homicide due to blunt force trauma.
Photos of Mr. Oshodi-Alagoa, his family members making a plea at a news conference today to identify his killer(s), and items missing from his residence are attached to this news release.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. L. Holbrook, B. Harris and Senior Police Officers P. Vela and M. Waters reported:
Friends of Oshodi-Alagoa's found him deceased in the living room of his residence. Evidence at the scene indicated Oshodi-Alagoa possibly knew the suspect (s).
Further investigation determined a Rolex watch and two vehicles were stolen from the residence. One vehicle was a 2013 Toyota Camry that was recovered. The other vehicle, which is still missing, is a silver Mercedes Cs5 with Texas license plates CDL1950. Photos of the missing vehicle and watch are attached.
