April 18, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman and the wounding of a man at 11118 Colebrook about 9 p.m. on Thursday (April 17).
The female, Alexandria Lynn Berg, 24, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene. The male, Christopher James Davis, 29, also of the above address, suffered multiple gunshot wounds, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers J. Sosa and X. Avila reported:
Mr. Davis and Ms. Berg were sitting in their vehicle when at least one unknown male suspect approached them and fired several shots. The vehicle was struck from both sides, as were Davis and Berg.
The suspect is described only as a black male in his 20s.
