Update: Composite Sketches in Fatal Shooting at 5402 Renwick
April 10, 2014 - Houston police have released composite sketches of two males seen fleeing the scene following the fatal shooting of a man and woman found at 5402 Renwick about 6:25 p.m. on Wednesday (April 9).
The suspects are described as only as black males. The first is about 18-20 years old, about 5 feet 11 inches tall with a light complexion, a baby face appearance and hair cut in a distinctive round afro. He was last seen wearing a pink or orange colored T-shirt. The second suspect is about 17-20 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a dark complexion and his hair done in twisted curls. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt.
The female, Melissa Ann Guerra, 23 and her husband, Jose Miguel Salinas, 23, both of the above address, were pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Rhoads and Officer R. Ridel reported:
A neighbor found Mr. Salinas and Ms. Guerra deceased inside their apartment. The neighbor, who was walking her dog, heard a crying infant and found the victims. The victims' five-month-old daughter was not injured.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
