September 30, 2013 - **Note Photos of Possible Suspect Attached** Houston police are investigating the death of a male found while extinguishing a fire at 5700 Northwest Center Drive about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday (Sept. 29).
The identity and cause of death of the male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers M. Stahlin and J. Rhoads reported:
A passing motorist called the Houston Fire Department after seeing what he believed was a fire coming from an office parking garage at the above address. HFD crews responded and found a car on fire. While putting out the fire, they found the male's body inside and called HPD.
Photos of a possible suspect fleeing the scene are attached to this news release.
