Surveillance Video Released in Robbery Investigation

Investigators in the Houston Police Department Robbery Division today (March 22) released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in at least four robberies of businesses in Houston since late January.

The suspect is described only as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 25 years of age with tattoos on his arms and upper back.  He is believed to be driving a grey or brown Toyota Tundra pickup truck.

The incidents occurred on the following dates and locations:

  • January 27 at 3:25 p.m. - Sports Authority - 10225 Katy Freeway
  • January 28 at 10:30 p.m.  - Walgreens - 8089 Westheimer
  • January 28 at 11:35 p.m. - Valero - 7100 Bellaire (surveillance video)
  • January 30 at 5:45 a.m. - Timewise - 11101 South Sam Houston Parkway



In each incident, the suspect entered the store and brought an item to the counter as if he was making apurchase.  Once the cashier rang up the item and the register was opened, the suspect reached over and took the money from the cash register.  In many of the cases, the suspect has threatened to have a gun and then fled in a Toyota truck.  He is believed to be linked to as many as eight robberies in the Houston area.
