Update: Surveillance Photos of Suspects in Fatal Shooting at 7300 Washington Avenue
August 28, 2013 - Houston police have released surveillance photos of three suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 7300 Washington about 10:40 p.m. on Monday (Aug. 26).
The suspects are described only as three armed black males with their faces concealed by bandanas or masks.

The deceased victim is identified as Robert G. Placette, 64, of Katy. The other wounded victim, 43, sustained non life-threatening wounds.
Three armed suspects, described only as black males wearing bandanas and masks, entered the Denny's restaurant at the above location and immediately fired several shots. They ordered all customers and employees to the floor and demanded their property. During the robbery, one suspect shot Mr. Placette while another suspect shot a restaurant employee, 43, as he tried to flee the business through the front door. The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown minivan.
Placette was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Hospital and the other victim was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition.
