September 27, 2012 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 12600 block of North Featherwood Drive that occured about 5:25 p.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 26).

The victim, Douglas Davis, 52, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Kung and Senior Police Officer J. Ortiz reported:

Mr. Davis was driving a black Toyota Tundra pickup truck northbound in the 12600 block of North Featherwood Drive when it failed to maintain a single lane and struck a light pole.  Davis then lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree.
