September 12, 2012 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 12300 Bellaire Boulevard about 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday (Sept. 11).

The victim, Hui Nguyen, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant S. Sorge and Senior Police Officer R. Bymaster reported:

According to a witness, Mr. Nguyen was traveling at a high rate of speed westbound in the 12300 block of Bellaire when he swerved and crashed his white Lexus SC 400 into a telephone pole.  Nguyen was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.

No other individuals or vehicles were involved in this incident.
