May 7, 2012 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 11200 Wallisville Road about 2:30 a.m. on Sunday (May 6).

The identity of the male victim, 45, is pending verification by the Harris County Insitute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehiclular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Thomas and Officer J. Perrotte reported:

The victim was operating a white Harley Davidson motorcycle and exited U.S. Highway 90 to Wallisville Road.  He disregarded a right turn only sign and continued straight on the roadway, where he struck a median.  The motorcycle flipped several times and crossed several lanes of traffic.  The victim was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
