Composite Sketches of Suspects Sought in Home Invasion
December 21, 2012 - Investigators in the Houston Police Department's Major Offenders Division have released composite sketches of two of three suspects wanted in a home invasion and police impersonation incident at 6526 Richwood about 8 p.m. on December 9.
Two suspects are only described as black males. The first suspect is in his 20s, about 6 feet 2 inches tall and has a heavy build. The second suspect is in his late 20s, about 5 feet 4 inches tall and has a skinny build. Composite sketches of both suspects are attached to this news release.
A third suspect is described only as a Hispanic male. No composite sketch of the third suspect is available at this time. (Note: The investigating officers are not currently available for interviews).
The three suspects, wearing police type raid gear, entered the above address announcing they were police officers serving a search warrant. Once inside, they held the residents at gunpoint, threatened them, and demanded money and unspecified items. During the home invasion, one family member, 35, was beaten and suffered broken bones in the face. A female resident suffered minor wounds to her arm.
The suspects fled in a newer model gold or bronze GMC Yukon.
