Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 11718 Hempstead Highway
April 6, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11718 Hempstead Hghway about 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday (April 4).
The victim, Pedro Miguel Rosales Ramos, 32, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Harris and Senior Police Officer M. Waters reported:
According to witnesses, Mr. Ramos was heard arguing in the parking lot at the above location. At some point, Ramos was fatally shot in the chest. Witnesses also stated Ramos, who is homeless, had no money and was apparently shot for his bicycle and food he was given to eat. It is believed the suspect(s) fled in a small, green four-door sedan.
At this time, there are no known suspect(s).
