September 6, 2011 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 7900 Westheimer about 3:15 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 5).

The male victim, Juan Carlos Villalobos, 40, of the above address, suffered head trauma and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Usher and Officer T. Nguyen reported:

According to witnesses, Mr. Villalobos had recently purchased a Harley Davidson motorcycle and was learning to ride it in the parking lot of the Dilston House Apartments at the above location.  Villalobos was headed eastbound towards a locked gate when he lost control and struck a parked tan Buick Park Avenue and then struck a brick wall next to a gate.  Paramedics were called and transported him to the hospital.
