Update: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 4304 Edison
October 6, 2011 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 4304 Edison about 7:55 p.m. on Sept. 28.
The suspect, Abraham Amador (H/m, DOB: 3-21-90), is charged with capital murder in the 209th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Rosalio Pena, 48, of the above address. Mr. Pena suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants T. Biggs, R. Torres, C. Elliott and Officers A. Ulloa and M. Stahlin reported:
Neighbors heard Mr. Pena arguing with another male in his driveway at the above address. They then heard two gunshots and saw an unknown suspect fleeing the location. Pena was transported to the hospital where he later died.
Further investigation developed information that identified Amador as the suspect in this case. Amador was arrested on Wednesday (Oct. 5) and admitted to investigators he attempted to rob Pena.
