July 15, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 8700 Knox at 4 p.m. yesterday (July 14).

Billy Ray Hatch, 25, of Houston, suffered mutiple gunshot wounds to the head and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital for treatment.  He remains hospitalized at this time.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Rodriguez and Officers I. Ulloa and C. Cardenas reported:

For unknown reasons, Mr. Hatch got into an argument with unknown suspects.  The argument escalated and the suspects began shooting, wounding Hatch.  At this time there is no known motive or suspects.
