Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 9211 Kerry Glen Circle
August 2, 2011 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man at 9211 Kerry Glen Circle about 7:15 p.m. on Monday (Aug. 1).
The suspect, Jarvis De-Allo Leverett (b/m, DOB: 8-26-75), is charged with murder in the 184th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Arthur Lee Washington, 52, of the above address. Mr. Washington suffered multiple stab wounds to the upper torso and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and Senior Police Officer S. Anderson reported:
Mr. Washington and Leverett were patients at a mental care facility at the above location. The two men got into an argument about one sending the other to the store to buy cigarettes. Leverett did not want to go since he had already done so earlier in the day. At some point during the argument, Leverett stabbed Washington several times. Leverett was taken into custody at the scene and admitted to investigators his involvment in killing Washington.
