Additional Suspects Charged in Fatal Shooting at 3720 Harrisburg March 5, 2010 - Charges have been filed against two additional suspects arrested in the fatal shooting of two men at 3720 Harrisburg about 8:20 a.m. on June 3, 2009. The suspects, Xavier Alexander Austin (b/m, DOB: 3-7-86) and Herbert Foster Nash (b/m, DOB: 6-3-82), are charged with capital murder in the 174th State District Court. Two other suspects involved in this incident, Casey Demon Carmon (b/m, DOB: 4-21-92) and Minh Joseph Truong (H/m, DOB: 7-4-89), are also charged with capital murder in the same court and are in custody. All four suspects are accused in the deaths of Shahzad Anwer Quraishi, 57, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, and Mohammad Aziz Zubair, 55, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers R. A. Moreno and D. W. Arnold reported: Patrol officers responded to a shooting and robbery call at 3720 Harrisburg and found Mr.’s Zubair and Quraishi had been shot. An investigation determined Zubair called 9-1-1 during the incident and provided a description of the suspect. Further investigation determined there had been an apparent struggle at the scene. A vehicle described as a white, extended cab pickup truck, possibly a Ford or Chevrolet, was seen parked on Milby Street at the time of the incident.
