Fatal Shooting at 8801 South Braeswood June 7, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8801 South Braeswood about 12:10 a.m. on Saturday (June 5). The victim, Raymond Smith, 18, of the above address, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant O. Chandler and Senior Police Officer T. Andrade reported: Mr. Smith was shot several times in the common area of the apartment complex where he lived. The unknown suspect or suspects are believed to have fled the scene in a gray Nissan Xterra.
