Fatal Shooting at 1201 Redford June 7, 2010 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1201 Redford about 5:35 a.m. on Saturday (June 5). The victim, William Sandoval, 25, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants D. Ferguson and T. Wyers reported: Mr. Sandoval was visiting friends at the Bristol Apartments. He left the apartment and was talking on a borrowed cell phone. Several minutes later, his friends walked outside to look for Sandoval and saw him fighting with two or three unknown Hispanic males in the grass near the parking lot. As the friends ran down the stairs, they lost sight of the men and then heard several gunshots. Sandoval’s friends found him dead in the rear of the complex. The suspects had fled the scene.
