Deceased Victim Identified in Incident at 4300 Garrott

January 20, 2010 - The victim, Ruben Dario Ical, 51, of Houston, also went by the name of Myra Chanel Ical. He suffered numerous bruises and defensive wounds.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B.E. Roberts and Senior Police Officer R.W. Chappell reported:

Mr. Ical was found partially clothed in a field and had no identification. The area is known to have incidents of prostitution, drug use and homeless camps.

At this time, there is no known motive in the murder or any known witnesses in the case. Ical was last seen wearing a black blouse, blue jeans and a black sweater.
