Suspect Charged in Fatal Shooting at 7575 Office City Drive

April 30, 2010 - Charges have been filed against a suspect involved in the fatal shooting of a man at 7575 Office City Drive #8110 about 9 a.m. on Nov. 14, 2009.

The suspect, Adan Reyes (H/m, DOB: 12-10-77), is charged with capital murder in the 209th State District Court. Reyes is currently in a Texas Department of Corrections jail facility on an unrelated offense. He is accused in the killing of Frank Jimenez, 54, of the above address. Mr. Jimenez suffered at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. A second suspect, described only as a Hispanic male, remains at large.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant G. Gonzales and Senior Police Officer J. Sosa reported:

Two Hispanic male suspects forced their way into apartment #8110 and demanded to speak with Mr. Jimenez regarding money one of the suspects said Jimenez owed him. The other persons inside the apartment were placed in a bedroom while the suspects beat Jimenez and eventually shot him. The suspects then fled the scene.

Further investigation and witness statements identified Reyes as a suspect in this case and he has admitted to his involvement in this incident.
