Investigation into Shooting at 1630 Holman #9

May 18, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 1630 Holman #9 about 3:55 p.m. Saturday (May 16).   

The victim, Corry L. Garcia, of the above address, 36, suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he remains in critical condition.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and Senior Police Officer S. Anderson reported: 

Mr. Garcia had an argument with an unknown suspect in his apartment at 1630 Holman, who is believed to have shot Garcia in the abdomen before fleeing the scene. There are no known witnesses to the shooting.
