Fatal Traffic Accident at 2800 Shadowbriar

May 18, 2009 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 2800 block of Shadowbriar about 4:30 a.m. on Saturday (May 16). 

The male victim, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identification is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Chambers and Officer D. Hall reported: 

The victim was operating a Honda motorcycle, northbound on Shadowbriar at a high rate of speed, when he struck a curb and lost control of the motorcycle.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.   No other vehicles were involved in this accident and the investigation is continuing.
