Fatal Traffic Accident at 6400 Rothway May 11, 2009 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 6400 Rothway about 8:40 p.m. on Friday (May 8). A male victim, 59, was pronounced dead at Northwest Memorial Hermann Hospital. His identification is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Officer I. Jefferson reported: A Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling northbound on Rothway at a high rate of speed when the driver struck a curb, lost control and threw both the driver and the passenger from the motorcycle. Both were transported to Northwest Memorial Hermann hospital, where the driver was pronounced dead a short time later. JKS/JC
