Charges Pending in Fatal Shooting at 7306 West Knoll May 6, 2009 - Charges are pending against a man arrested in a fatal shooting at 7306 West Knoll about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday (May 5). The suspect, Cirilo Gomez Martinez (H/m, DOB: 12/17/87), is being held pending murder charges in a shooting incident that killed one man and wounded two others. The victim, Brandon Hennington, 27, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer L. Lovelace and Officer L. Leon reported: On Tuesday, Mr. Hennington, Michael Robertson and Gregory Cooper went to the suspect’s residence to try and settle a previous argument that had started on Sunday, May 3 at the same location regarding a stolen DVD. When Hennington, Robertson and Cooper arrived at the residence on Tuesday the suspect produced a pistol and opened fire on the three men, fatally wounding Hennington and shooting Robertson and Cooper. Robertson was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital with a graze wound to the side of his head and Cooper was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. JKS/JC
