Credit Card Thief Arrested, Charged May 4, 2009 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested for the robbery and fraudulent use of credit cards in northwest Houston on March 27, 2009. The suspect, Daniel Wade Holler (w/m, DOB: 3-29-86) is charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in the 180th State District Court. At about 10:45 p.m. on March 27, the suspect was walking in front of another male, 27, who was walking towards a restaurant in a strip center parking lot at 7620 Katy Freeway (Interstate Highway 10 West) when the suspect suddenly turned around and pointed a pistol at the male. The suspect then demanded the victim’s wallet and got into the driver’s side rear door of the Ford Tempo and fled in an unknown direction. The stolen credit card was reported used within an hour of the robbery at the following locations along Antoine Drive between the Katy Freeway and Highway 290.
Acting on a Crime Stoppers tip, investigators obtained information identifying Holler as the suspect in this case. A warrant was issued and on April 28, Holler was taken into custody in Tomball, Texas without incident. VHS/JC
