Fatal Shooting at 6352 Windswept Lane March 9, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6352 Windswept about 8:30 p.m. on Sunday (Mar. 8). Officers arrived to find the victim, Julio Adrian Espinoza, 21, of Houston, being treated by paramedics in the parking lot. He had suffered a gunshot wound to the face and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and Senior Police Officer S. Anderson reported: A witness standing in a retail center parking lot in the 6300 block of Windswept heard gunfire in the parking lot of the apartment complex next door. The witness saw four Hispanic males get into a red Chevrolet or Ford F-150 pickup truck and flee the scene. The witness recognized two of the males who possibly live in an apartment complex near the shooting. The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.
