Fatal Shooting at 3827 Wylie June 15, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and wounding of another at 3827 Wylie about 3:25 a.m. on Saturday (June 13). One male, Roberto Sergio Carrillo (H/m, DOB: 3-13-77), was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital while the other male, Flavio Guzman (H/m, DOB: 5-24-78), was transported to the same hospital in stable condition before undergoing surgery. Both suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Preliminary evidence at the scene indicates the men likely shot one another. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Wyers and Senior Police Officer R. Martinez reported: Guzman and Carrillo have known each other for several years and, according to family members, have had problems with each other in the past. Witnesses at the scene stated the two had an altercation earlier in the evening at a different location and that Guzman left to return home. Carrillo later arrived at Guzman's home where the two had another altercation. It is believed both males fired weapons at one another, as evidence confirmed numerous shots were fired from different weapons. The investigation is continuing.
