Male Found Fatally Shot At 5900 Selinsky

August 7, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found in the 5900 block of Selinsky about 2:15 a.m. today (Aug. 7). 

The victim, Kenny Tippins, 18, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants W. Meeler and T. Griffin reported: 

Mr. Tippins was found deceased in the right front passenger seat of a gray 2009 Toyota Sequoia sport utility vehicle, in the parking lot of the Crystal Springs Apartments at 5900 Selinsky.  It is believed TIppins was shot at another location and then driven to 5900 Selinsky and left behind.  Evidence from the scene determined there was an exchange of gunfire between the suspects and the occupants of the Toyota. 

At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects.
