Two Arrested, Two Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 4114 Curtis
September 20, 2008 - Charges have been filed against four suspects, two who have been arrested and two who are still wanted, in the fatal shooting of a man at 4114 Curtis about 10:30 p.m. on August 17.
The wanted suspects, Reginald Tyrrell Price (b/m, DOB: 7-16-79) and Jacoby Darnell Hall (b/m, DOB: 5-11-78), are charged with capital murder in the 263rd State District Court. Donna Renee Thomas (b/f, DOB: 10-9-82) and Danyell D.Thomas (b/f, DOB: 10-12-84) are also charged with capital murder in the same court. Donna Thomas was arrested on August 18 while Danyell Thomas was arrested today (September 20). They are all accused in the killing of William Jones, 35, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W.J. Anthony and Senior Police Officer R.W. Chappell reported:
The armed suspects kicked open the door at the residence at 4114 Curtis and held Mr. Jones and two other victims at gunpoint while they stole items from all three victims. The suspects then shot Jones multiple times before leaving the scene.
