Drowning of a Child at 9988 Windmill Lakes Boulevard May 12, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the drowning of a child at 9988 Windmill Lakes Boulevard about 9:10 p.m. on Saturday (May 10). The six-year-old victim, Christian Mackey, of Houston, was transported to Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital where he was pronounced dead. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants C. Howard and E. Cisneros reported: Christian and his family attended a house warming party and during the evening hours, several adults took their children to a local swimming pool for a swim. Although the children were under adult supervision, Christian got into the pool undetected and was eventually spotted at the bottom of the pool by family members. He was pulled from the water and CPR was immediately administered. No charges will be filed at this time. VHS/GO |
