Fatality Accident at 6500 North Wayside March 31, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 6500 block of North Wayside about 6:25 a.m. on Sunday (March 30). The victim, identified as Gabriel Hernandez-Villegas, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant S.A. Perez and Officer D. Schlichter reported: Witnesses reported seeing Hernandez-Villegas driving a tan Toyota Camry northbound on North Wayside at a high rate of speed. Hernandez-Villegas lost control of the vehicle and struck a utility pole, causing the vehicle to wrap around the pole. It is unknown if intoxicants contributed to the accident.
