Accidental Shooting at 8801 Boone Road #1202 March 10, 2008 - The accidental shooting of a man at 8801 Boone Road #1202 about 1 p. m. on Saturday (March 8) will be referred to a Harris County Grand Jury without charges. The male victim, Kenneth Valencia, 18, of 10415 Cedertown Lane in Sugarland, Texas, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Hermann Memorial Southwest Hospital where he later died. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants R. Odom and J. Shirley reported: Mr. Valencia and a male friend were playing with Valencia’s gun in his friend’s apartment. Valencia tackled his friend, who was holding the gun, causing it to discharge accidentally. No charges will be filed at this time. VHS |
