Charges Filed in Fatal Accident at 10100 North Freeway December 01 , 2008 - Charges have been filed against a motorist involved in a fatal traffic accident in the 10100 block of the North Freeway (Interstate 45 North) service road about 2:40 a.m. on Friday (Nov. 28). The suspect, Adrian Garcia (H/m, 10-16-88), is charged with intoxication manslaughter in the 263rd State District Court. He was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was treated then taken into custody. The deceased victim, Bianka Nieves Garza, 25, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. M. Chambers and Officer A. DeLeon reported; A gold Cadillac, driven by Garcia with Ms. Garza as a passenger, was travelling southbound in the 10100 block of the North Freeway service road when Garza lost control as he passed a vehicle and overturned. Garcia was then taken to the hospital and later charged in this incident. VHS/JC
