Shooting at 3300 Adair April 16, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 3300 Adair about 6:40 p.m. on Friday (April 11). The victim, Jasmen Gradney, 19, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital. He underwent surgery and is listed in critical condition. HPD Homicide Division Officers T.T. Pool and M. Khan reported: Two juveniles got into a fight at an unknown location. Soon after the fight, one of the young men gathered some friends and went to find the juvenile he had fought with. They located him in the 3300 block of Adair. The altercation escalated when Mr. Gradney, the brother of one of the juveniles fighting, arrived. Witnesses reported seeing the suspect point a weapon and fire shots into the crowd.
