Robbery Suspects’ Identities Sought October 31, 2007 - HPD Robbery Division investigators have released video surveillance of two suspects sought in the robbery and shooting of a man at 6515 Corporate on September 24. The victim, Bobby Kim, 43, suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to the West Houston Hospital Medical Center. HPD Robbery Division Officer C. Guidry reported: Mr. Lim, the owner of General L. Communications at 6515 Corporate, was leaving his business through the back door about 9 p.m. when he noticed a white truck driving nearby. One of the suspects got out of the truck with a pistol and demanded Lim’s property. Lim began struggling with the suspect and when the second suspect approached, Lim was shot. The suspects then took items from Lim’s pockets before one of the suspects drove away in Lim’s vehicle, a Cadillac Escalade sports utility vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered at an apartment complex at 10101 West Sam Houston Parkway. Mr. Lim’s business was burglarized earlier that morning by what appeared to be two black males. Investigators believe the suspects in the burglary may have knowledge or may be involved in the robbery. The suspects are described only as two black males. Anyone who recognizes or knows the identities of the suspects is urged to contact Officer C. Guidry of the Robbery Division’s West Squad at 281-584-4750.
