Incident at 2600 Calumet November 15, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2600 Calumet about 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov.14). The victim, Cody Everett, 14, of 2410 Southmore #2, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. HPD Homicide Division Officers M.A. Khan and L.K. Lovelace reported: Everett and the suspect were sitting on a park bench at the above location when they became involved in an altercation. The suspect then shot Everett multiple times. The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 24 years of age, about 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. He was seen wearing a black tee shirt, black pants and black shoes.
