Incident at 5934 Beaconridge June 1, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5934 Beaconridge at 3 a.m. today (June 1). The victim, David Andrew Johnson, 33, of 5934 Beaconridge, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants L.A. Flores and O. Belmarez reported: HPD officers responded to a shooting call at 5934 Beaconridge and found Mr. Johnson deceased inside his residence by the front door. Witnesses reported hearing a knock at the front door, and after opening it, were confronted by the suspects who began shooting. A witness inside the residence was able to return fire before locking the door. The suspects forced their way into the house and shot Mr. Johnson before leaving the residence. Witnesses said they noticed money missing from the house after the suspects left. The first suspect is described only as a black male with a black gun. The second suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet tall, weighing 210 lbs. and wearing a black short sleeve pullover shirt and a white baseball cap. The suspects fled in a green 4-door vehicle, possibly a Taurus or Grand Am with tinted windows.
