Incident at 6310 Dumfries #128
January 15, 2007 -- Charges
have been filed against a suspect in connection with the murder
of a male at 6310 Dumfries on January 14, 2007 at 6:15 p.m.
The victim’s identity is Juan Jose Galeas,
43, of 6310 Dumfries #128. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
The suspect, Rodolfo
Jesus Morales (H/m, DOB: 2-05-82), has been charged with murder
in 179th State District Court.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant D. Crain and Officer
R. Olivo reported:
Mr. Galeas was at home with his wife when Morales
knocked on the door. Mr. Galeas answered the door and both men
stepped outside onto the balcony of the apartment. They began
arguing over money owed for some auto repairs. Morales produced
a small caliber revolver and shot Mr. Galeas numerous times. Mr.
Galeas collapsed on the balcony and was pronounced dead at the
scene.
Witnesses saw Morales flee the scene in a light
green 1999 Ford Expedition, TX License plate # 67R-WF3. Morales
should be considered armed and dangerous.
