Incident at 503 El Dorado Boulevard #1600
February 1, 2007 --Houston police
have arrested a suspect and are searching for a second one involved
in the fatal shooting and stabbing of a man at 503 El Dorado Boulevard
#1600 on January 31, 2007 at 9:10 p.m.
The victim is identified as Jeremy A. Billot,
21, of 503 El Dorado Boulevard #1600. He sustained multiple gunshot
and stab wounds and was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Hospital.
The arrested suspect, John Paul Barre’
(w/m, DOB: 4/4/84) was arrested and is charged with capital murder
in the 209th State District Court.
The wanted suspect, Nathyiron Pernell Howard
(b/m, DOB: 5/29/78) is also charged with capital murder in the
209th State District Court.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants T. Huynh and
D. Crain reported:
During the course of the investigation it was
determined that Barre’ and Howard were acquaintances of
Mr. Billot. Barre’ and Howard conspired to rob Mr. Billot
of his drugs and money in his apartment where they shot and stabbed
him multiple times. Barre’ was arrested at the scene and
Howard fled on foot. He is considered armed and dangerous. Barre’
and Howard are both Katrina evacuees.
