Traffic Incident at 4400 Telephone Road

April 27, 2007 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at the 4400 block of Telephone Road about 4:20 p.m. on Thursday (Apr.26).

The victim, Cody A. Campbell, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant R.A. Gonzalez and Officer R. Kessler reported:

Witnesses saw Mr. Campbell, an employee of Stubbs Motorcycle, pick up a customer’s motorcycle to test ride it. Campbell lost control of the motorcycle and struck a wooden stage set up in the back parking lot. The stage was set up for concerts that Stubbs occasionally sponsors.

No charges are expected to be filed.
